Welcome to the new Sheridan Stationery Books & Gifts here in Sheridan, Wyoming. We recently relocated, with new ownership, just a bit further up North Main Street, our new spot has everything our old one did, with a bit more!
We want the new Sheridan Stationery to be a place for new and old readers alike. We would love to help you find the perfect book! History of Sheridan Stationery
Sheridan Stationery Books & Gifts has a long, rich history embedded in the heart of Sheridan as one of the oldest retail stores still open for business.
Originally located off the south end of Main Street, Sheridan Stationery provided the community with typewriter sales & repair, office supplies, and of
course books, upon its opening in 1935. The store then relocated to 206 N Main in 1957 where it has been a staple in the heart of downtown for over 50 years! Over the years and under the longtime ownership of John & Robby Smith, the store evolved to meet changing retail needs and demands while still maintaining its hometown roots.
Nick & Jessica Bohnsack have taken over ownership of the business in 2021 and are enthusiastic to continue the tradition of Sheridan’s favorite locally owned bookstore and are looking forward to expanding the store offerings for a more diverse shopping experience. . While they have moved the store, it is still in historic downtown Sheridan, at 535 North Main Street.
