For The Love of Reading Club

Join our monthly book club and read a variety of genres! Each month we randomly draw from participant suggestions, so you’ll read everything from Historical Fiction to Mystery! this book club is for anyone who wants to get out of their reading rut and meet new book lovers. As the name suggests, this book club is for anyone who loves to read and share the love of reading with others.

We meet the last Thursday of each month at the store. Discussion begins at 6:15.

Banned Books Club

In this book club we will be reading books that are on the top 100 banned books of all time according to the American Library Association.

As well as discussing our thoughts on the book, we will share the statistics for its banning in our country, and the reasons listed for the challenges. Our goal is to understand and be informed of the content of the book that triggered its controversy in so many libraries and schools.
